چکیده

We present a two-level parameterized Model Order Reduction (pMOR) technique for the linear hyperbolic Partial Differential Equation (PDE) of time-domain elastodynamics. In order to approximate frequency-domain PDE, we take advantage Port-Reduced Reduced-Basis Component (PR-RBC) method develop (in offline stage) reduced bases subdomains; latter are then assembled online form global domains interest. The PR-RBC approach reduces effective dimensionality parameter space and also provides flexibility in topology geometry. stage, each query, consider given value associated domain. first level reduction, used solution at selected frequencies. second these instantiated approximations as surrogate truth solutions Strong Greedy identify basis space; PDE elastodynamics is projected on this space. provide numerical example demonstrate computational capability assess performance proposed approach.

Model Order Reduction-A Time Domain Approach

Modeling of real time system posses a large number of problems. It is a challenging task to model accurately a large real time system. Modeling of large real time systems results in large number of differential or difference equations that lead to state variable or transfer function models that represents a higher order system. It is very difficult to handle such a higher order system model for...

Gramian-based model order reduction of parameterized time-delay systems

Time-delay systems (TDSs) frequently arise in circuit simulation especially in high-frequency applications. Model order reduction (MOR) techniques can be used to facilitate the simulation of TDSs. On the other hand, many kinds of variations, such as temperature and geometric uncertainties, can have significant impact on the transient responses of TDSs. Therefore, it is important to preserve par...

Modified Hankel Matrix Approach for Model Order Reduction in Time Domain

The author presented a method for model order reduction of large-scale time-invariant systems in time domain. In this approach, two modified Hankel matrices are suggested for getting reduced order models. The proposed method is simple, efficient and retains stability feature of the original high order system. The viability of the method is illustrated through the examples taken from literature....

Parameterized Model Order Reduction for Nonlinear Dynamical Systems

The presence of several nonlinear analog circuits and Micro-Electro-Mechanical (MEM) components in modern mixed signal System-on-Chips (SoC) makes the fully automatic synthesis and optimization of such systems an extremely challenging task. The research presented in this thesis concerns the development of techniques for generating Parameterized Reduced Order Models (PROMs) of nonlinear dynamica...

A linear sampling method for inverse scattering stodynamics elastodynamics problems in the time domain elastodynamics problems in the time domain

This paper, deals with detecting and identifying unknown scatters (e.g., obstacles) in an elastic background solid through the use of elastic illuminating waves. In this regards, the Linear Sampling Method (LSM) for the reconstruction of the underground obstacles from near-field surface seismic measurements in the time domain is explained. The LSM is an effective approach to image the geometric...
